Mark Walczak - Esoteric Essentials - vol.1

I found myself walking into Z-Lounge (Pittsburgh, PA) unaware that Terry Mullan would be serving up his own genre of house on the decks. During Terry’s set I realized how truly inspired I could be, and made a promise to myself not to get discouraged. I wanted to be a House music DJ, but not an ordinary House music DJ. My ultimate goal is to make you forget about your 9-5 job, help you live in the moment and let your worries leave you at the door.

My DJ style can be summed up as a Hybrid of various House genres’ with an occasional twist of techno elements. I’ve had the privilege to be a resident DJ at Z-Lounge, and to play at various venues around the great city of Pittsburgh. One of my most memorable nights at Z-Lounge was playing a tag-set with Terry Mullan. 

I have had the honor to open for Gus Calderone, David Puentz, and Plastik Funk.
