satin is a DJ and producer from the eastern French scene and founder of FLIP. First known for some releases, notably for 240km/h, he now turns towards a darker and more mental universe, tinged with analogue sounds and tribal rhythms. Always in search of creation and defending pure techno, he tries to create a primitive and percussive atmosphere through his mixes and his productions. Through this EP, satin seeks to explore sounds, ranging from tribal rhythms to more textured sounds. He imagines the latter as crossing a primitive jungle: from the arrival in it, passing through the pressure and fear of exploration until the deliverance of arrival.

SHDW is a well-known artist who runs Mutual Rytm record label in Stuttgart, Germany.  The label has featured the music of several outstanding producers, including Grindvik, Raffaele Attanasio, Stigmata, and Alarico.

Hyden is a French artist with a burgeoning reputation having released his quality sound via Cleric's Clergy, Warok Music, Synergie, and now makes his debut on Mutual Rytm. with a heavy 8-track collection of floor workers.

For this DT:Premiere we selected "Swarm" with a looming tension and haunting harmonics, the grooving rhythm is joined by an optimistic, tubular stabs and growling, electrical thunder, setting the immersive scene of a dystopian storm.

Say What? is happy to welcome the new collaborative EP from Spanish/Chilean techno craftsmen Under The FX and JFERNANDEZ. Fusing precision-engineered grooves with emotional depth, the duo dives into the disorienting and fascinating world of time perception through hypnotic, rolling techno.

Opening the EP with elegant chaos, 'Desfase Circular' plays with looping sequences and subtly shifting percussion that evolve in a spiralling motion. Syncopated low-end patterns pull the listener in while atmospheric elements swell and retract like tidal waves of tension. It’s a circular rhythm that never quite returns to the same place.

A mechanical heart beats off-kilter in 'Pulso Desviado'. Clock-like clicks, rolling sub-bass, and warped synth stabs generate a hypnotic drive that feels both relentless and unstable. The groove continuously deviates from expected patterns, creating a sense of temporal distortion—like a second hand skipping beats in a dream..

The third track on the release 'Reloj Interno' explores the body’s own rhythm. Here, organic percussion interlocks with warm, rolling bass and subtle modular tones. The groove feels intimate and alive—almost biological. Pulses echo like a heartbeat, gradually layered with evolving synth textures that mirror the shifts of day and night. It’s a track that breathes, grounded in groove but aimed toward inner exploration.

Closing the EP on a deeper, more meditative note, 'Tiempo Suspendido' suspends time itself. Space opens up between the kick and the rhythmic elements, allowing haunting pads and ghostly effects to drift in like forgotten memories. The track moves slowly yet purposefully, capturing that strange sensation when moments feel stretched—when time no longer feels like a straight line. Perfect for closing sets or introspective home listening.
