here's a new mixtape what i've done which sees our faithful friend FUNK colliding with a swathe of electronic, glitch hop, broken, chuggy, synthy, wonky productions - from all over the globe. so much development seems to have happened so quickly with the old genre that it's difficult to predict where it's going to go next...so this isn't so much "future" as "now", really. um...sorry.

still, it's just under an hour of my current fave alt-funk tunes.

Future Funk Mixtape [2010]

A collaborative re-edit between myself and Plimsoll Records' very own, Mat Hoods.  I loved the original but wanted to do something with it to enhance the undulating space funk feel.  Mat came in at the bare bones stage and helped out with tons of synth work and sequencing magic to result in this.  We really hope you like it.
