This was the first song ever written for the mixtape, before the idea of a mixtape was even in question.  This song got me back into writing and pursuing my singing again. I was in my dorm, unable to fall asleep, and as I lye in bed this song came to me acapella.  I almost didn’t get up to write it down, but it sounded so good in my mind I decided to get up and I remember I was shaking with excitement as I was writing it down so I wouldn’t forget it, and I realized I had a burning desire to write my own songs. 💋

3. Marlena Rose - Dreamboy

I’ve gotten in and out of a lot of bad relationships that made me question my worth as a woman.  This song was also written during quarantine at the trestle, and helped give me some power back and reassert my confidence in myself.  I am also a firm believe that if you speak good things/aspirations to your water and then drink it, you can manifest your own destiny. ♥️
