NoName developes musically as a dj after his interest towards Drum'n'Bass born at the end of the previous millenium. During the years this matures, earlier attending parties at clubs and at illegal raves scattered over the italian peninsula, then as a producer and afterwards as promoter/organiser of events in the collective Hydra, one of the memorable and best known crew in Italy, founded by talents as Massi G or Primitivo. From 2006 DjNoname continues to propose his own sound through italian and foreign territory, in historic clubs like Cassiopeia (Berlin), FreeFall Festival/Willemeen Club (Arnhem), Artheater (Colonia), SubClub (Bratislavia), and in the best italian clubs as Magnolia, Link, Maffia, Mercati Generali, Alcatraz, Leoncavallo, Clone Zone, AltroMondo Studios, Thermos, Extra, Decibel, Baxter, Mamamia – to cite some of them – supporting historic artists of the world-wide scene as Calyx, TeeBee, BlackSunEmpire, Dillinja, Dom&Roland, JohnB, djHype, Axiom, Misanthrop, AK1200, Neonlight, Pendulum, Logistics, Aphrodite, Belzebass, Pelussje, Hypomaniacs, and some of the best national talents as Aeph, Maztek, Dabs, ArpXP, Hlz and Hallucinator.

He founds in 2005 the Hydrophobics with signal.flow and their first single Mod.003 Criteria/Fermat Last Theorem is published as vinyl on the label Modulate Recordings, meanwhile the second, called Conceputal Machines, comes out for the american label Gun Recordings: moreover in the compilation were involved italian basslines.

In 2009 enters in the Baesom project and produces liquid.dnb tracks with Signal and Mholok, with whom in 2010 he realizes a remix of “Il Diluvio” for the Subsonica, for the label EMI.

He carries out in his recording studio with his ex associate W.P.L. the remix for the track “Zombieaters” of Hallucinator, for the Labels BigRiddim (USA).

In 2010 DjNoname brings to life the Solid Soul project that, somehow, is marking the history of the italian DnB, made up by numerous and harmonious djs as Ego, Alexander Head, Enok, AlienFade, FazeOne, Plok, Intro and by the Mc. Sismino, with whom he organizes parties not only in Italy but also all over Europe.

Carbon Based Lifeforms are Johannes Hedberg and Daniel Segerstad from Sweden. CBL itself was formed in 1996, as an offshoot from other projects, but soon became their focal point, culminating in their first release on 'mp3.com' in 1998.

The goal of CBL is "to combine earth and space in fine-tuned, but still solid, musical visions, seldom forgetting the irreplaceable TB-303"

Just felt like doing a stitched version of this incredible album by one of my fave ambient production teams. The idea for reshuffling and stitching the tracks into a long continuous mix originated from  Phaeleh's "Afterglo 0.01" release which was a pivot point for the way I viewed Dubstep genre about 6 years ago. It opened my mind and ears to works coming from unknown or not so well known producers from another world. So I thought this incredible release by Carbon Based Lifeforms deserves to be discovered within an overall context of its vibe rather than its individual tracks.... I hope you share the same view after giving it a spin.

Neoteric by essence and yet a return to some oneiric trip-hop and the day after, hands up in the air, dancing grooves feeling ; Treeline is the third album signed on French imprint Ultimae, from a rather prolific artist who launched into numerous collaborations including the Ghostwalk EP with James Murray and the Eskostatic album and who, throughout his art, keeps on questioning causes and underlying perceptions.
