hi, i hope this made you feel something. i kinda wanted to convey how society has this strict standard of whats considered beautiful, but beauty is subjective and beauty really comes in all shapes and forms. society and just people in general want us to be perfect, and thats kinda the beauty of humans were so imperfect and thats beauty in itself.

first her eyes, then her smile, ill take my time

and ill draw them, make sure i paint one by one
her structure isn't perfect
her teeth are broke and crooked

her eyes are closed, her hair untouched, no smile is seen.
but she needs no corrections, thats why ill leave the lines underneath her lips
her skin shows trials and burdens
all hidden behind her curtains

you never understood
that having flaws is okay 
and smiling all day my heart can't do
it will leave it bruised
you still have not got it through

that we are all humans
and its hopeless
to make drawings perfect for you

hi. i made this mainly for my mother who's father passed away when she was 27, and i wanted to make her something she could sing to him.

hola, hice esta canción para mi mama a quien le falleció su papa cuando tenia 27 años, y le quería hacerle una canción que se la puede dedicar a su papa.
