A true veteran of the underground scene, Nat Wendell started his career in London and now resides in Berlin.

Nat has had releases on prestigious vinyl only imprints 'Courtesy Of Balance Recordings' and his own 'Depth of My Soul' plus exciting forthcoming releases for 2021.

Expect 60 minutes of deep and timeless grooves as Nat takes you on an audio tour of his record bag.

Loquace:

Loïc, known as Loquace, is a French native electronic music DJ and producer. He was 18 years old when he decided to produce and to start as a Dj in parties and local clubs... Thanks to his motivation, his work, and his boldness, this passionate young man was able to experiment with his first productions. He launched his solo career and decided to release his first tracks with Kina Music. Collaborations with Serialism, Tabla, Drumma, to name only a few, followed. His approach to music is intuitive, creative, and representative of his emotions. It is a real means of communication. In 2010, he felt the desire to create his own musical entity, which gave birth to Earlydub Records. Now, his label is appreciated and playlisted by many artists around the world. This self-taught DJ enjoys being on the scene just as much as spending hours alone in a studio or with his acolytes Yamen & Eda, who then became the trio LYE.

I met Connor upon my return from Romania and he, among a few others I met, brought me straight back in to what I call, the good side of being in Britain.  These youngsters are extremely cultured and knowledgeable about music in general but mostly, UK music. Bringing me back straight to my home base. 

Connor's background is rooted in jungle free parties, a genre he used to also play during University times in Nottingham, in this period  he had a residency at Stealth. Later, over the years he switched to more 4x4 genres by playing jungle records at 33rpm rather than 45rpm.  At the tender age of 18 he played under the alias  'Malebox' - a disco duo with one of his closest friends where he was a resident of Shut The Front Door, a monthly party at Jamm Brixton.  It was also under this alias and his solo one that he was a resident of The Cause in London.

In 2020, Connor creates Serenity Records.  A new not-for-profit record label, aimed at raising essential awareness on the growing epidemic of mental health within the music industry, whilst also donating all proceeds of its project to various mental health charities. One of the key features of the project is to allow the artists commissioned for each EP to have the opportunity to select the particular charity that their work will support. Releases so far bring John Shima, Anna Wall, Thoma Bulwer and Innershades. 

I feel that this 1hr set that Connor recorded for us sums up all of the above beautifully, certainly a feature I want to see in artists, especially younger ones like him. Ones that honour all their influences without neglecting anything or jumping on the “current hype”.  Fascinating enough, all of the above can be heard in this elegantly built set.

Robert Roman is surround sound personified. Through multiple channels, he is seemingly everywhere and all at once. By age 8, he was fascinated by the intricacies and subtleties of quality sound. The inception of his career as a DJ/Promoter was brought to life by 18. Through beach-raves, utilizing generators and local talent, he first showcased his understanding and passion for music. This sent waves through his community sparking a new scene in South Texas, allowing Robert to host international DJs at his club residency for the following two years. His motivation to expand his knowledge brought him to Austin, TX, to attend audio engineering school and immerse himself into the Austin electronic music scene. Robert’s ambition for a select caliber of sound led him to spearhead Movement Collective, a party series based in Berlin and Austin, hosting multiple residencies throughout his tenure. The “movement” this inspired in Austin, ignited Blacktone, an agency and party series, founded by Robert’s friends and colleagues which he is now a part of. Furthering his relentless mission to develop and share diverse music, Robert co-founded ubiyu, a record label and party series in Austin, TX. Ubiyu currently hosts two monthly residencies to showcase their roster of international DJ’s and is steadily releasing digital and vinyl EP’s. Robert's appetite for sublime sound and a unique range of selection will never be satiated.
