Melbourne-based producer LEPSI delivers Unspoken, a two-track EP that bridges the drive of modern techno with the warmth and soul of 90s house. Known for his sharp drum work and melodic precision, LEPSI blends rhythm and emotion in equal measure, capturing the tension between introspection and release.

Unspoken leads with a hypnotic pulse that builds from stripped grooves into euphoric lift-offs, while Best Foot Forward brings a tougher edge, guided by rolling percussion and layered synth textures. Together, the two tracks show a producer fully in command of his craft, raw, emotive, and built for the floor.

Back in 2012, whilst working at paramount studios in LA, we decided to spend a couple of hours recording a cover of one of our favourite Prince songs - Electric Intercourse. We set up a grand piano, some synths, drum pads and a microphone in the live room and laid down the majority of this demo in a couple of takes.

The little known original track was never actually released by Prince and exists only as a live recording from First Avenue in 1983. It says something about the greatness of an artist when such a cool song doesn't make the grade. Apparently it was destined to be on Purple Rain but Prince thought that he already had too many down tempo songs for the album. Recently he began playing a new version of Electric Intercourse in his live shows.

We thought we'd share this with you and pay homage to one of our absolute heroes and without doubt one of the greatest writers, musicians and performers to have ever lived.

As Solid Stone proudly became the first artist responsible for a full album on Coldharbour Recordings through the release of Introspection, one track in particular captured the immediate and long-lasting attention of fans worldwide - the dark yet touching Heart Call. 

A familiar collaborative voice on previous Solid Stone compositions, his good friend Jennifer Rene shines through the emotions behind the words, with many citing the piece as a contender for track of 2016. Already receiving extensive support from Markus Schulz, Above & Beyond, Ferry Corsten, Giuseppe Ottaviani and many others, the original will find a proud place on radio and in the clubs. 

The remixes are no less outstanding, with progressive master Jerome Isma-Ae, having a stellar year in his own right, adding a dark, driving and somewhat sinister approach. And for melodic trance lovers, New York native Monoverse presents Heart Call in a more energetic case, whilst maintaining the soul of the original. 

The echoes of Heart Call will ring throughout the remainder of 2016. And on reflection, it may go down as a seminal piece for the ages.

Madwave & Yusef Kifah arrive on Synedrion Music Group to open up the remixes from Costa Pantazis' second Venetica album 'The Things We Left Behind.' The original mixes were doing wonders on dance-floors for some time but it looks like the remixes are set to steal the show.
