The themes are deeply personal, yet shrouded in dream logic: grief, transformation, political disillusionment, the numbness of middle age and the shedding of old truths.

Upward Toward the Proper Light offers tantalizing captured glimpses of gleaming phosphorescence diffusing through nascent fissures in the growing void.
