Marqant Music is a young up and coming sound engineer for urban music  from Chur in Switzerland. 

Marqant started doing his thing in 2012 and he's currently working on a new free remix mixtape (to be released later this year) and his first official Album release is also in working process.

Marco C. (Marqant) started listening to HipHop in 1999. At the beginning he only listened to German and Swiss rap. After a quick side-trip to rock/heavy metal he turned back to hiphop in 2004. That was the first time he listened to Jedi Mind Tricks and Gang Starr. He pretty fast addicted to this raw boombap sound. In 2005 he started collecting vinyls and in 2007 he bought his first set of Turntables. 
After reducing his dept to the state he went back to collecting music. Due to the great music by Stoupe and Premo, in 2011 he bought his MPC to spend his part to the community too. 
Only one year later he started putting out his "RawMix" Mixtape Series, where he demonstrates some of his skills mixed with his favorite artists' songs.
His musical style is influenced by the old huge names of HipHop like DJ Premier, Pete Rock, Madlib, DJ Muggs, Dr. Dre aso. Also a very important influence too were the likes of Marco Polo, Stoupe (JMT), Anno Domini, Snowgoons, al'tarba, DC the Midi Alien, Necro and many more of the who's who in todays underground hiphop scene.
