I tried to kick game, and it was awkward at best.

and then invited me into her apartment undressed.

I wrote this instead of answering her phone call.
Wrote this in third person instead of breaking the fourth wall.
I wrote this three rooms into a dorm crawl.
I wrote this because her name is my favorite North Star.

I wrote this instead of replacing all her torn bras.
I wrote this instead of making a quiet storm song.
I wrote this to give direction to something born lost.
I wrote this because talking's difficult with lockjaw.

I tried before but it's hella confusing.  I swear it's much more clearer when I'm rapping it.
