Been feeling emotional lately due to my grandmother's  health. Although she feels like a broken flower, I will always see her as the most beautiful flower 🌷. Because whenever she smiles she blossoms and fills the room with sunshine. ☀️

Hi and welcome to the 2nd track from my new project "Then She Reaches For The Gun". Firstly I wanna say BIG BIG thanks to all the people around the world that have sent me files to be part of this ongoing fun… I am currently working on track 3 and all the recent recruits will feature in that.

 “All Roads Lead To the Carpark” was finished before the callout so it’s line up is the same bunch of crazy talent as track One except for Carolyn Wigston stepping down from vocals and the formidable Paolo D’Emilio taking her place with a little rant in Italian and English about speaking in Italian and English : ) Neska Wigston is also having a rest from barking duties : )

The project’s inspiration is two fold: Firstly its a homage to some of the stuff i grew up listening to like Mr. Bungle and other noisy bastards where anything goes, and often in quick fire succession and secondly it” a chance to work with an never ending stream of talented musicians that i have known for years either in real life Australia or via the Internet. Each track will no doubt change depending on who has sent me what.

The process is simple, I collect a bunch of random recordings from people and then see what i can arrange from it. The only criteria is that i wont be using samples from TV/film/other music etc, so just original stuff played on instruments, field recordings, stupid drunk conversations etc. Cheers!

This is the second song posted from the album Bitzone, Stricknice, Wou-Wou & the Wormling, and I have been working on together with a number of other friends on SoundCloud. The first song shared was the late 80s indie American underground inspired song, Ghosting Out, that include Bonetender joining with his transistor organ and guitar. The Show / The Shrike Pt. 3 is one of the 4 songs on the album inspired by Wou-Wou & the Wormling’s graphic novel, the Shrike, which inspired this project. 

Massive thanks to Carlos Vivanco and Belial Pelegrim for joining us on this track. This is the 2nd song Belial has joined me on and the first song I have had the privilege of working with Carlos on. It is amazing to have them both on the same track together. I feel so lucky to get to work with all my favorite musicians.

Strange bits and pieces translated from surreal dreams that have their own soundtrack as of late. In this picture, my wife made me this beautiful shadow box with all these discarded tubes and accessories that look awesome. I thought it would be cool and a little freaky to have this song dialed into this shadow box, as a sort of musical jewelry box upon opening. I could see somebody finding it at Goodwill one day when I'm long gone and being like wtf is this?!?!?

It's total nonsense, thanks in part to the lyrics being fuelled by a cookery book and too many nights in watching reruns of The Mighty Boosh.
