The rhythms are driven by pace and connecting the dancers with shake instruments on their ankles to dance gracefully and with power. 

NDYUKA podcast will always be rhythmic and cultural inspired. With this mix here i emphasized the power of the low-end rhythms alongside mysteriousness and some deeper sections to switch up moods but never lose energy.

This mix by Berghain / Panorama Bar resident @Ben-Klock first aired on August 3 as part of @OstgutTon-official's takeover of @RinseFM and @Rinse-France. For this special simulcast on both stations in Paris and London, Ostgut Ton artists were asked to showcase a different musical side of theirs.

Ben Klock: “This mix is a journey through different tempos and genres of electronic music and more. I wanted to create a smooth trip that is basically an ambient mix, but includes also uptempo tunes, so the vibe is more in the music than in any specific bpm. Basically a mix of music that I would like to listen to at a chill afterparty with a hand full of friends and a beautiful sunrise in front of us.”

Continuously trying to exceed his own limits, MARRØN employs fast rhythmics inspired by his roots. The artist’s moniker pays homage to the strong-willed Marrons, a once-enslaved African tribe who defied oppression and found freedom 
in the primeval forests of Surinam. The hypnotic, percussive beats characterizing MARRØN’s foundational Afro Deep style have evolved to form a singular conception of techno. His dynamic take on the genre is at home in the underground, most notably in his role as co-founder and resident of Amsterdam’s Eerste Communie. MARRØN’s capable command of groove, power, and texture is no doubt a convincing invitation to stay on the dancefloor for hours.
