This thought experiment opens with a descent from 30Hz down to 4.2Hz.  It's a fairly quick drop, without plateaus along the way to let the brain settle in before continuing the descent, but it might help get the brain moving in the right direction.  We have had some strong personal experiences from this one.  The title comes from an occasional recurring piano motif that drips with nostalgia and calls up memories of simpler times.

Theraphonia - Visitation With Memory Binaural  [E82.4Hz θ 30-4.2Hz 30m]

This thought experiment uses a carrier frequency of 87.3 Hz - the key of F, and produces a theta binaural of 6.2 Hz.  The track uses a personal favorite field recording "Frogsong at Miner's Marsh" with the operatic crooning of green frogs recorded in the Annapolis Valley, Nova Scotia.  That recording is also available in Soundprint Archive Vol. 1.  The binaural itself is mix isolated for increased effectiveness.

Theraphonia - Circle's Edge 1 Binaural [F87.3Hz θ 6Hz 30m]

This thought experiment uses a carrier frequency of 175 Hz - the key of F, and produces a theta binaural beat of 7.2 Hz.  It sounds a bit like finding an EDM drum circle in the middle of a jungle.  Feed your creativity circuits, reach deeper states of consciousness and open your mind to imagination.  The carrier is isolated in the mix, so even though there's a lot going on at times, the binaural itself is constant.  Happy Trails...

Theraphonia - Jungle Encounter 5 Binaural [F175Hz θ 7.2Hz 30m]

This thought experiment uses a carrier frequency of 41.2 Hz - the key of E, and produces a theta binaural of 6 Hz. The track combines a rooftop recording of a gentle thunderstorm and a fascinating aeolian harp recording from Chile (courtesy of Felix Blume at Freesound), along with a few other bits and bobs.  The overall texture is mysterious and introspective.  This frequency supposedly boosts creativity, promotes deep relaxation and augments meditation.  As always, the binaural beat is isolated in the mix equalization to maximize its clarity even when other sounds are happening around it.  Please share your experiences with us!

Theraphonia - Brain Rain Binaural [E41.2Hz θ 6Hz 30m]

This thought experiment uses a carrier frequency of 55 Hz - the key of Amin, and produces an alpha α binaural beat of 10.41 Hz.  Binaural beats at this frequency may produce deep relaxation, but as an experiment, try focusing on gratitude, whether it's for an act of kindness or the thrill of a cool breeze or beautiful vista.  Then let us know in comments what you experienced.  Gratitude is a powerful force in the brain that can uplift and help fight off depression and anxiety.  At least, that's been our experience.  As always, even though the music is quite active and rhythmic, the binaural track is isolated so the music and textural elements don't step on it.

This thought experiment uses a carrier frequency of 87.3 Hz - the key of Fmin, and produces a theta alpha θ binaural beat of 6 Hz.  As always, the carrier is frequency isolated from the rest of the mix to maximize effectiveness.

At 5.2 Hz, this theta θ binaural with a carrier of 55Hz in the key of A will help amplify feelings of calm, encourage sleep, and possibly seed lucid dreaming.  It's a simple drone with some additional dreamy sound cues echoing throughout, all saturated with lush, endless reverberation.  Served very chilled.

This is a two hour binaural at 3 Hz on a carrier of 65.4 Hz (in the key of C).  At that frequency it should be pushing the brain towards dreamy sleep.  It's based off a field recording of the full duty cycle of a Bosch Dishwasher, slowed down and resonated into a swirling, evolving drone.

Here's a 3 Hz delta brainwave binaural for deep dreaming and sleep.  Like Bosch Majestic, it's based on resonated 96 kHz appliance field recordings.  Musically, there's a few simple chords from Boris Kovalev's amazing program Nasca.  And mechanically, there's a Kenmore washer & dryer, a tea kettle and a convection oven, all slowed down to deep, spacey rumbles and whooshes.  Enjoy this deep, dark ride.

For this binaural we used EVOX to generate the shifting textural soundscape.  It's a full-spectrum binaural - where one entire audio channel is shifted upwards by the desired binaural beat, so literally everything heard is reinforcing the binaural signal.  We would love to hear your experiences with this approach.
