A fictional electronic soundtrack about life and loss through the eyes of a plant, solely recorded on the Delia Synthesizer from Melbourne Instruments. All songs produced by Mike Wallace.

What started as photosynthetic dreams began the ticking of time.
Slowly sprouting before ones eyes, the journey seemed too far.
The heat of the day caused blooming at night, coloring the sky with stars.

The joy of life was short-lived, as the sky began to mud
In a flash of light, the day went dim and soiled the ground with flood.
Time slows down when rain from heaven finds the plant off guard
The aftermath of lessons in life grows petals back twice as hard
Forced to remain resilient and calm. the plant now moves with ease.
The rain from summer turns frozen for winter-like icicles melting through trees.
With droplets of water penetrating the soil, the ticking of time has begun.
The day is fresh, a new journey awaits, as the plant crawl's back toward the sun".

A year ago I was approached by Jamison Harvey from Flea Market Funk and asked to do a mix for them. I've always had a lot of respect for what they do, and always enjoyed listening to their mixes as well. I also wanted to somehow include my Butta Brother Skeme Richards. So we got together, and came up with an idea. I would do a mix, and Skeme would dub dialog from his massive VHS collection and lay it on top. Kind of a soundtrack for a movie that never happened. So, that's what we did! With that said, we present to you "Cops Crooks and Spies". Thank you everyone for your support! Peace.

I've always been a huge fan of Jazz music. Especially the works from labels like Blue Note, Prestige, Strata East, Kudu, and CTI. I think it's pretty safe to say most of us music lovers dig that stuff! There's just something about the complex patterns of rhythm that are intermingled together that always has seemed superior to other genres (in my opinion). Here's a mix I put together of some of my favorite Jazz songs. On this mix I wanted to leave most of the tracks unedited, and showcase them in their natural raw form. The way it was meant to sound! Meant for funky tea parties and long walks on the beach. Enjoy!

Growing up as a kid, when I wasn't out riding my bike or getting into trouble, my face was glued to the Television watching various educational documentaries. I've always been a visual learner. One thing I love the most about the programs that were aired in the 70's/80's, was the background music. It was warm, it was tense, it was very engaging. Years later, I tried to recapture that feeling, by hunting down records that had the same sound. And then, I discovered Under Water library records. Ever since that moment, I have made it a point to grab every Under Water record I could get my hands on. I also begun to collect Nature documentary LP's. 

Our Beautiful World is a guilty pleasure mix that I have made, combining all of the Under Water and Nature film LP's I have collected over the years. It's made simply for nostalgic purposes. Either you like it, or you pass on it. There's something about drone like synth noises, combined with floating string sections, and bubbly Fender Rhodes that brings me back to eating cereal on the carpet with my favorite spoon. Enjoy!

Over 2 years ago, I went to DJ in Rome & had the pleasure of visiting maestro Piero Umiliani’s Sound Workshop. It was during this time, I decided to start working on a project that would pay respect to him & all of his efforts to Jazz & Film Music. Grazie!....Piero Umiliani, is a 2LP compilation with some of our favorite tracks from the Sound Workshop archives. The compilation comes with a mix CD, created by myself. I want to thank Nature Sounds for supporting my vision, and releasing this unique approach to Piero’s music. I also want to thank my designer Mark Cruz for the art direction. Everything in this project was done from the heart. My main focus was making sure this release would age as gracefully as Piero’s music continues to daily.
