Spanish DJ, producer and house music tastemaker Dosem brings us ‘Answer’ featuring Korean-American artist SOHMI. ‘Answer’ is the first single from his forthcoming album ‘Desire’, landing 30th August on Anjunadeep.

With a career spanning over 15 years, Marc Dosem released his debut album ‘Parallel’ in 2011 on former Hong Kong imprint Sino and first teamed up with Anjunadeep in 2018 on two-track single ‘Not A Coincidence / Why Give Up Before We Try’. Known for his club anthems that have soundtracked late nights and early mornings on dancefloors around the world, Dosem has released on Toolroom, Armada, Purified and his own label Houstrike, alongside delivering remixes for the likes of Hot Since 82, Above & Beyond and Eli & Fur. He is also well known for his 2021 collaboration with Tinlicker, ‘Hypnotised’, which has racked up over 10 million streams across all platforms.

An artist who’s always in demand, Dosem has already completed headline tours in Australia and the USA this year, and has recently played in London, Tokyo and his hometown of Girona. Alongside these appearances, Marc has appeared on festival stages at Ultra Miami, Sónar Festival, SXM Festival and Tomorrowland, and been supported by Boiler Room, who aired his set from Girona’s Museu d'Arqueologia de Catalunya all the way back in 2017.

In the four years since his previous artist album ‘Dream Decoder’, Dosem has continued to finesse his signature blend of progressive and deep house designed to get people moving and bring crowds of like-minded music lovers together.

His new album, ‘Desire’, is heavily influenced by ‘90s progressive house and techno, and reflects their euphoric, deep, and atmospheric qualities through a modern lens. Across its twelve tracks, the LP explores themes of community, connection, and passion.

On first single ‘Answer’, Dosem pair’s SOHMI's catchy vocal topline with a hard hitting bassline that would fit on a variety of dancefloors; the type of versatile production that showcases why he’s been supported by artists as diverse as Hot Since 82, Gorgon City, and Adam Beyer. Other standouts include ‘Ethernal’, a collaboration with Anjunadeep favourite HANA on vocals, and high-energy club track ‘Tranced House’, which sit alongside deeper cuts including ‘Cold Shores’ featuring Carla Werner, ‘Unjetlag’ and ’Sensations’.

An ambition like Tom Marshall’s. A fan favourite on the roster of renowned UK label Anjunadeep and one of the breakout stars of the melodic house scene, Marsh has sculpted a distinctly warm, emotional sound since he first emerged in the mid-2010s. Inspired by his teenage love of the emotionally rich, early 2000s trance sound and the musicality of crossover drum & bass acts like Pendulum, he’s distilled these disparate influences into a captivating and soulful signature style.

Now two albums deep into his career – his debut 2017 ‘Life On The Shore’ and his critically acclaimed Anjunadeep debut album ‘Lailonie’ in 2020 – Tom has an array of widely supported anthems in his discography. ‘Come Together’ (with Nox Vahn), ‘Little Darling’ and the Beatport chart-topping ‘Lost In You’ are some of his best-loved tracks, all streaming well into the millions and winning support from electronic music’s biggest artists, including Joris Voorn, Pete Tong, Diplo and RÜFÜS DU SOL. 

As well as building a stellar reputation as a producer, Tom has established himself as one of a new generation of DJs set to follow in the footsteps of the progressive house pioneers such as Eric Prydz and Sasha & Digweed. With memorable headline sets at prestigious venues such as Printworks London and The Brooklyn Mirage already under his belt, this is the life that Tom has been working towards since he made his first beats over a decade ago.

Since moving away from his UK roots to his current home in North America, and the nomadic, perpetually-touring lifestyle that has followed, Tom has written a new album, his third, set for release on Anjunadeep in 2023. Forever soul-searching, his craft continues to help him articulate his emotions and navigate his way through life’s challenges.
