Hailing from Utrecht, Marsolo has quickly become one of the most talked-about new names in the European house scene. With a production journey that began in 2013, and roots tracing back to the iconic Thuishaven in Amsterdam, his unique and genre-blurring take on house music has seen him rise rapidly of late, earning praise and support from leading figures including LOCUS and FUSE head honcho, Enzo Siragusa. Following standout releases like ‘Eye of the Beholder’ on Eastenderz and ‘Synthesis’ on You&Me, he levelled up to open 2025 with ‘Step By Step’ —a track that soared to #1 on Beatport and solidified his ascending status.

Now stepping up for his first release on LOCUS, he unveils five expertly produced cuts that reflect the depth and diversity of his sound on ‘What You Say’. The EP opens with the title track, ‘What You Say’, a slick and infectious roller laced with crisp drums, warped basslines and swirling synths. ‘On A Mission’ follows, building on the energy of the opener with skippy percussion, punchy low-end, and a hooky, dancefloor-ready groove. ‘A Bit Darker’ explores moodier territory, pairing brooding atmospheres with gritty textures and breaks influenced rhythms. ‘Timeless Truth’ offers a moment of clarity, built around shimmering synths and spacey melodies, before ‘Philosophy’ closes things out and delivers a deep and thoughtful finale, rich in groove and intricate detail.

An exciting prospect from Utrecht, The Netherlands, Marsolo has recently been making some serious noise on the circuit. With a love for house music born at the iconic Thuishaven in Amsterdam, but his production journey starting much earlier in 2013, Marsolo has now spent over a decade creating music like no other. 

With influences outside of electronic music, Marsolo pulls on his love for many different genres when sitting down in his bedroom studio. His rapid rise to success is virtue to the fact that Marsolo is creating something unique in his productions. His own interpretation of house music has now landed him on lineups all around Europe… and beyond. 

Over the years, Marsolo achieved early success with releases like Eye of the Beholder (2023) and Synthesis (2024). However, in 2025, he reached new heights with his most anticipated track yet: Step By Step. The track soared to number one on Beatport’s all-genres chart, propelling Marsolo into the spotlight, with many calling for this to be named the track of the year.

Not only a gifted producer, Marsolo takes extreme care when digging for music. In addition to his vast collection of unreleased tracks, Marsolo seamlessly blends hidden gems—both new and old—into every set. His ability to unearth the next big track has landed him slots at Fabric in London, Paradiso in Amsterdam, Cova Santa on Ibiza, After Caposile near Venice, and has even taken him back to where his passion for house music started: Thuishaven.
