Opening track from “Asteroid Lost”, which is the second album from Man and Robot Society produced by Sound Effect Records, following their 2018 release "Robosapien", which was a lush, all-synth electronic album with a theme centered around the merging of man and robot technology. 
“Asteroid Lost” continues the heavy electronic sounds of its predecessor but expands the musical palette with live rock drums and tastefully placed electric and acoustic guitars and grand pianos. This progression in sound showcases the group’s versatility and evolution in their musical journey.

1 The Non Believers

Ode to Dies Irae is inspired by one of the most famous hymns ever written, Dies Irae. The original Latin sequence is attributed to Thomas of Celano of the Franciscans (1200–1265). The 7 notes of the first verse are used throughout Ode to Dies Irae in a repeating Moog sequence. The notes from the entire first verse are also used throughout the song and are expanded upon to form a danceable melody and harmony.

A Gregorian monk repeats the first line of the hymn in numerous sections of the song.

As it was used in Mozart's rapture, the Dies Irae is a somber hymn of judgment day, whereas Ode to Dies Irae is a celebration of life dance.

Ode to Dies Irae is the 8th track on Asteroid Lost, an epic musical journey from Man and Robot Society that is produced by Greece’s premiere record label Sound Effect Records. It is a unique blend of electronic, rock, prog and ambient music that takes listeners on a journey through time and space.
