VIDA MORRINA/I think I lost my touch. I think I think about these things too much. It doesn’t help that I don’t talk half as loud as I used to. brush my curls out tonight. I fall asleep in the bathtub. drown myself in my grandpa’s cologne. brush my hair to the side tonight. call my whole family, spike my water with blood. bury myself in old t-shirts he left behind, perfectly folded. I’m crawling my way back to 1999. I’m taking bad pictures to slow down the night. I’m dying off slowly to come back another time. I won’t get used to waking up this way, I swear I won’t. I cut all my hair off tonight. turned 21 & I just felt too shy. you never looked at me right in the eye. if this is what it’s like I just wanna fall down.
