Chrysalis - the transformative stage between a caterpillar and a butterfly. 

Creating a tune has been on my bucket list for some time now and I'm elated to finally release my first track! It depicts my ongoing journey living with anxiety and depression, transforming from a state of hopelessness to self-discovery and belonging; pushing through fears while heading toward that final stage - freedom. Sweet Mine is my first single of 2021, the track is all about summertime and the vibes and feelings that surround the time of year. 

The hook of the track talks of a 'Sweet Mine' again bringing home the idea of summer, or in a more literal term a summer romance. Wether that is with the season itself or a person is open to interpretation. I hope you all enjoy the track and bop to it as much as I did when making the track :)

2020 was one HELL of a year. Growth, loss, progress, despair, discovery. New emotions and experiences, stuck in isolation. Fighting old fucked up oppressive systems. Through it all we were blessed to have each other, our communities, you, music.
This album illustrates what it was like for us living through a global pandemic. We hope “illustrations” gives you some comfort, stirs your fire within, that you enjoy listening, or simply that it helps you in some way - just as creating it helped us through an unprecedented time.
