Traditional Sevdah melody with lyrics by Serbian poet Aleksa Šantić. "Emina" is the idealized woman, idolized by a man who happened to see her passing by her house. Since it has been sung by a man, I asked myself how I could sing it, as a woman? And I decided to portray him falling in love as a dream, and the interaction between them as a funny failure.

However, life takes you in unexpected directions. I sang for two years in the vocal ensamble called „Čipkice“ where we performed mostly Balkan (Croatian, Serbian, Bosnian, Macedonian and Bulgarian) songs. In 2013 I was invited to be the conductor of the musical section of Serbian Cultural Society in Croatia, which I lead until 2016. and got more into voice and singing, exploring the production of voice /tecnique of different singing styles on the Balkans.

From 2016 - 2017 I had a band called „Čiribilu“ with Zlatko Ratkajec on the guitar and Nikola Švenda on percussion, performing Balkan and Latin traditional songs.

​

At the moment, I live in my village, trying to create something new, focusing on combining traditional music and my own text.
