“Fountain” is the opening track of my second EP “A Song for Every Season.” This EP as a whole encapsulates the seasons we transition through, with each song touching upon both a literal season and a metaphorical one. “Fountain” is based on the cusp between summer and autumn; the changing of seasons from dizzying youth towards a subdued young adulthood. Production wise, I wrote the whole EP on acoustic guitar, but incorporated drums and synths along with nature sounds throughout.
