Reminiscing about the past with a few pals prompted this monster retro Trance mix. From back in the days of my Residency at Gods Kitchen and those hedonistic, off the scale nights playing at Limelight Club Kavos. Almost forgot how much energy these Big Room tracks had :)ENJOYED BEST LOUD!!! Feel Free to download and even though this is a massive 3 1/2 hour mix it will still fit on a single CD as MP3. Here is the Sweatbox set i played at Anomaly April 2019. A mix of upfront, and 5.00am anthems whilst Chris Shweizer & David Rust were blowing up room 1. The entire night was an absolute triumph with one of the best crowds I have had the pleasure of playing to. Long live Anomaly !!!!

Lostly - Luminosity Beach Festival 2020 - Broadcast

Martin Ford’s career started out as most DJ’s do, as a clubber regularly frequenting Bakers in Birmingham. It’s here where he was introduced to the sounds of the DJ’s and Brands that would start to shape his career. With the likes of Richie Roberts at Love Sexy on Fridays, Scott Bond at Republica on Saturdays and Decadence on Wednesdays Martin was exposed to some of the most diverse music going around the UK in the early 90’s, He credits Sasha and Digweed as major inspiration and you can hear this echo through into his style today.
Martin was soon itching to get out and play, in 1996 he landed his first gig at The Attic in Birmingham. In 1998 Godskitchen offered up a residency alongside legend Chris Turner where he supported the biggest names in trance and house at the time keeping his residency for 3 years (no mean feat at a huge brand like that). 
Martin was also resident of B1 at bakers for 2 years too, there is not a venue in Birmingham, maybe even the midlands that Martin has not played in. In addition, 3 years of main season parties on Kavos for Limelight and Chequers. 
Martin also played Godskitchen summer ball at Milton Keynes in front of 6500 clubbers sandwiched between John Kelly and Tall Paul.
In 2002 Martin decided it was time to concentrate on other ventures and family and took a step back from the music scene. 
In early 2013, at a night called ME in Birmingham Martin played his first set in 11 years. He must have been bitten by the bug again as since then he has gone on to play as a headline for Birmingham brand Enter The Dragon and Presents a weekly show on Lockedinradio. 
July 2016 Martin became first resident of Anomaly in Birmingham where he has supported the likes of Thrillseekers, Matt Darey, Airwave, Agnelli & Nelson, Craig Connelly, Jordan Suckley, Ben Nicky and Jorn van Deynhoven to name but a few. 
In 2017 Martin took another step in his career by jumping into production with Dan Deas forming DD:MF who debuted their first track ‘Nymeria’ at Anomaly to a roar of screams from an adoring crowd. The track then went on to be remixed by Carl Nicholson and signed to Art Recordings. 
The future looks good for this legend of the scene.
