Auf seinem vierten Album finden wir einen Martin Books wieder der sich auf all seinen vorherigen Alben bewiesen hatte, sich aber musikalisch nie so eindeutig und klar positionieren konnte wie auf diesem Album.

Jeder seiner Tracks, auch wenn er mal eine Reise in das Universum des Techno-Genres unternimmt, wuchs aus diesen Wurzeln heran und es ist ein ganz besonderer musikalischer Genuss Martin Books auf diese Weise wieder zu erkennen.

Dies alles bezeichnet Martin selbst als Techno Pop, sein Style welcher sich in den letzten Jahren entwickelt hat. Es ist schön ein Album zu haben das, wenn es endet, wieder von selbst beginnt. In der jetzigen Zeit wo Lieder nach Klicks buhlen und viele davon in einem riesigen Raum umherirren ist dies ein Album das, als Ganzes gesehen, eine völlig eigene Kraft entfaltet.

Zu Beginn der Produktion vom Album „Split“ schien die Aufgabe sich als die schwerste Hürde herauszustellen denn es sollte den eigenen Anspruch und den anderen Alben in nichts nachstehen. Für eine Entfaltung muss man frei sein um seine eigene Energie nutzen zu können. 

Niemals wird sich Martin Books verstellen und produziert das Album mit seinen über die Jahre gesammelten Erfahrungen an technischem Wissen, in der Vergangenheit gemachte Fehler sowie seiner Leidenschaft auf der Bühne um am Ende der Albumarbeit zu erkennen, dass all diese Dinge ausreichten um mit seiner Arbeit sehr zufrieden und darüber hinaus sehr stolz zu sein.
