In 2005 Robbie Long took over management and sister label TNC LTD was launched. New artwork was introduced with release TNC009.
In 2011 the label stopped pressing vinyl and switched to digital only.

Strange Times [Mixed By M@rt!n-J]

Nu Energy Recordings started at the back end of 1998 as an outlet for Kevin Energy's tracks that he had produced for Sharkey's mix on a Bonkers album. The initial start for Nu Energy was quite slow as the Hardcore scene went through a tough time when it had dug itself a hole and incurred a bad reputation for very similar sounding rip off music. Because of licensing from Sharkey to Bonkers, Kevin was able to continue releasing 12" records to the masses through the label and gradually more and more artists came on board and the sound certainly proved its worth. The rave scene drowned itself with run of the mill love song infused Hardcore tracks that dominated for a long period & ravers opened to new directions and ideas at a time where the Hard House & Trance scene got harder and harder. This is where Kevin Energy & his Nu Energy label were instrumental in helping the scene move away from the dire sounds of the past.

We made it Morphers! One whole year of the Morph Harder Podcast! I would never have thought I would make it to one whole year of the project as there was always concern it would be a distraction from writing music, however the opposite has been true, thanks to your support in donating, downloading, sharing, and emailing me, it has kept me inspired and engaged all year long. 

Before I go on to talk about this months offering, I would like to thank all the superb guests that have featured, not only have they introduced me to new music through their mixes, they have enriched the diversity of the podcast, whilst fully embracing the Morph Harder philosophy. Secondly i would like to thank all those that have donated to me via my Ko-Fi account, this has enabled me to keep the website up and running, subscription services ticking along, and the lights on the Ectomorph HQ on those long nights of editing and recording voice overs, truly this project will not be happening without your continued support....
