This is a fanmade soundtrack for the game "Assassins Creed III" that I composed with composer Rick Horrocks. Obviously the release is a little late, the track was planned to be released last year, but due to our time schedules we weren't able to finish the track together before now.

Tangkoko Morning - A Rainforest Soundscape from Sulawesi, Indonesia

So I made a wind cover for the binaural dummy head mics. I call it Stealth, as it doubles as a visual cover to minimise attraction when recording in urban spaces. To really test its ability to eliminate moving air interference with the capsules (here Primo EM172) I waited for a really good storm and headed out amongst the falling debris to get this recording. Rain is hitting the canopy of leaves - no umbrella. The cover is silent as its cloth suspended over a frame.
No equalisation or highpass/low cut filter applied so you can hear exactly how the capsules are affected (or not)
