This track is about when life keeps throwing lemons at you and then it just seems too difficult to overcome this. Efforts to try and stay positive becomes a real challenge. The world around you begins to crumble and you feel hopeless.
It is about loss of your dreams and never reaching them. This relates to a day when it is windy, birds singing in the trees and raining with thunder. It is a soothing melancholic track which sets the mood for an inspiring feelings of ranging bittersweet emotions. It is also a calming relaxing track.

Recurring Dreams

joergmueller and Boris Rogowski have known each other since their school days in a small town on the outskirts of Cologne, Germany. Their musical paths, however, did not really cross until 2022. Coming from quite different corners of the sonic universe (joergmueller’s oeuvre concentrates on Dub and Techno while Boris Rogowski currently focuses on Modern Classical/Post Rock composition and film soundtracks), they discovered that they have a common love for Ambient music.
Their collaborative album “Peregrines” is a work based on joergmueller’s Reclamation Patch, a modular setup which absorbs all incoming signals into a stream of sound whose precise workings are impossible to exactly predict, yet undeniably sensible. It does not allow performers complete control, but those willing to venture deeper into the seemingly chaotic terrain stand the chance of uncovering its very own beauty. This beauty, much like nature’s beauty, is fleeting, raw, often difficult to grasp – yet quite undeniable. The name Reclamation Patch is an ode to that quality: it hints at nature’s way of taking back seemingly tamed terrain, opening up cracks and crevices in man-made structures and filling them with new life.
The five pieces on the album were conceived during three long sonic expeditions guided by said patch which processed input from different analogue synthesizers, guitars, custom-built electro-acoustic instruments and other sources. During those journeys, the distinct interests and abilities of the two musicians proved a perfect match: joergmueller’s deep knowledge of modular synthesis and rhythmical prowess allowed him to act as captain, creating a sort of structure for the music, while Rogowski’s interest in harmony, narrative and atmosphere steered them toward melodic, almost symphonic terrain.
Retrospectively, their musical travels reminded the two creators of naturalist excursions, especially of J.A. Baker’s legendary poetic account of his birdwatching expeditions in eastern England, “The Peregrine” – after which the album was named.

Frozen lake

An amateur composer.  I try to tell stories in my soundtracks so it's probably abit different than what you are used to, I don't follow any rules x) Huge fan of game and movie music so that naturally is my inspiration. I am using Cubase and East West, everything is played by ear as I have no clue how to write music at all.

Everything I make is available for download. I would ask that you approach me if you want to use it for a project however :)
