music has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Throughout my childhood I drifted between instruments and genres. Piano as a child; trombone as a teenager, bass guitar through to uni - all while covering music styles from jazz, funk, disco and progressive rock. However; later in life I realised nothing was as influential as when my Dad purchased of Logic 2 for Mac and a Korg X5 MIDI keyboard in the mid-1990’s - I’d sneak into his “studio” and was fascinated by the idea of being able to play and manipulate the sounds as I please. This was my discovery of my love and passion for electronic music.
Over 20 years later, I’ve spent almost every spare moment refining my passion into a unique and defined sound that takes influence from my past (jazz, funk and progressive rock in particular) and channels it into a unique electronic sound that sits somewhere across the spectrum of disco, deep house, progressive house and melodic house & techno.

Mir fehlen immer noch die Worte...

Wow, was war das bitte für ein Erlebnis! Es war schon immer ein kleiner Traum von mir, einmal auf der Bucht spielen zu dürfen. Seit den Anfängen besuche ich die Bucht als Gast, und dieses wunderbare Festival zählt zu meinen absoluten Favoriten. Es fühlt sich jedes Mal wie ein familiäres Wiedersehen an, mit all den lieben und großartigen Menschen aka Buchtis <3

Und nun hatte ich am Samstag, von Mitternacht bis 2 Uhr die Ehre, den Atlantis Floor zu bespielen. Was für ein unvergesslicher Moment! Ich war unglaublich aufgeregt und zutiefst gerührt, als ich sah, wie viele Menschen gekommen waren.

Von ganzem Herzen danke ich euch. Das war einer der intensivsten und schönsten Momente meines Lebens!

Once again, I had the chance to play my favorite floor – the Dampfer – in one of the best clubs in the world.
I played from 3 to 6 AM, and I honestly can’t describe the vibe, the people, and the energy I felt. Every time I play there, it’s so special.
The sound is different on that floor – every track hits in a new way and gives me goosebumps.

This set also meant a lot because it’s been almost exactly one year since I discovered @rive.arte. Back then, he made some amazing visuals of me and the Dampfer that totally blew my mind.
Using one of his new artworks as the cover for this set just felt right – and since then, he’s created so many beautiful covers for other talented DJs. I’m really proud of him. ❤️

I had such a great time playing this set, and it felt so good to reconnect with my sound again.
