It's a kind of musical Mantra, repeating and repeating one phrase, like an endless circle with no beginning and no ending. In Taiwan I often visited daoistic tempels and I was touched by the atmosphere there. That music makes me remember the presence of candle lit Buddhas and depictions on the walls, the smell of incense sticks und friendly Monks.

it's great to fall asleep with the Sound of water. Hiking in Lapland I put my tent close to a river or a stream, whenever  it was possible. It was the best lullaby one  can imagine. Coming Home I missed it very much. I caught the rememberence of that feeling in this little piece of music.

when l was a child, a blacksmith was living in our district. He made me frighten, with his black face and his big  black hands, but I also was fascinated. you never saw him talking to another person. He was all alone. His house was very loud and the shine of fire could be seen through the windows. I remember, that sometimes there were horses waiting at the entrance door. one day this House was quiet. the blacksmith has vanished and some years later flats were built and there was nothing left from the magic dark atmosphere of these days.
