Deep sessions

Next release comes with a 11 track album by Addex called ''Eko''. After experimental tracks on his last label releases ''Stonewall Writings'' chapters 1, 2 and the full ambient release ''Technicism'', this release contains chill and melodic sounds, deep house and a techno-driving track like Subdual. The pack starts with New Temporal Frontier, a dreamy uplifting track that open the album, bring up the feeling and boost the energy for the next ones. The feeling continues with the second track Across The Endline but with more depth and layers of rhythm over it. Third track, Cloudescape, gives a gentle piano and melody attitude with an organic house feel to it. Mainland has a deep house presence as the fourth track while Imbold turns back the pack to an ambient smooth reprise with a calming ending. The track Eko provides again a deep house feel, but this time combined with uplifting rhythm. Subdual brings some classic Addex style and turns into midnight techno-driving sound. As the last 4 tracks of the album come next, both Everlasting and Astral Travel tracks gives a calm mood, while Endless Imbalance takes you on a dub natural progression journey ending with the last track From The Last Departure on a relaxing note. <Menou / iwamaki> plays Drone＆Ambient techno DJ or LIVE in Japan.
She started DJ in 2015, at dommune in 2017, and played DJ at Contact Tokyo,VENT Tokyo,sound space α,kagurane soup etc...she started Live set in 2019. Her name when she plays Live set is Menou. In April 2013, she performed a live set at the Mostra Festival in Barcelona, Spain. In May 2023, at the spanish secret festival Perpendicular.
Her DJ&live approach is a deep drone journey. She's conscious of creating a deep sound with an approach of layering sounds.

何層かのdroneの和音にexperimentalやnoiseを重ねたアプローチ。
2016年ドローン大学卒業。

2019年よりMenou名義にてLIVE活動を始動。
2023年バルセロナMostra festival、マドリードPerpendicular festivalにてliveを行う。
Estrato Auroraとの共同トラックがFrequencia Introspectivaよりリリース。
7月にはOrbitandoよりソロトラックリリースなど、トラック制作にも注力している。

Droneベースに音の繊細な変化や展開を感じるアプローチを意識してDJやLIVEを行う。

"I approached this set differently than I normally would when opening the Outer Space room at No Way Back. Given this unique moment of mass hysteria, the intention when selecting music was to create an escape beyond reality. The streaming format provided a captive portal for the audience, similar in ways to the cavernous room within Tangent Gallery, except this acted more as a direct feed into the mind. The accompanying video by Candace Price lends heavily to the cinematic nature of the set, creating a strange and textural world, like being locked within a dream."
