Ellicist are Thomas Chousos & Florian Zimmer. Chousos studied composition in Greece before moving to Berlin, where he is working as a producer and sound engineer under the moniker Tadklimp. Electric Riddles

Hello, I'm Marty Byrne, I am a self-taught musician, composer, music producer, sound designer, guitarist, vocalist, fiddler of synths, electronics and music software. I have a Masters in Sonic Arts (with Distinction) and a BSc in Music Technology (First Honours) from Queens University Belfast. For over twenty years I have been writing and performing original music in a wide variety of styles. In the past 10 years I have worked in a variety of technical and creative roles, from composer, music producer, sound designer, musical director, to post-production editor, audio technician and sound engineer. In 2004 I gained an Audio Engineering Diploma from SAE, London. 

By night I am a composer and sound designer for film, theatre and media, I play in several bands and perform as a solo artist, by day I am the freelance sound technician for venues such as, Cabaret Supper Club, Crescent Arts Centre, Accidental Theatre and more.

On January 1st 2011 I started Song A Day For A Year ( http://sadfay.bandcamp.com ), this was a completely self-motivated project where I wrote an original piece of music every day for a year. Along with all the experience I gained, honing my production and songwriting skills, as well as the technical skills of engineering and mixing, I was also working to strict deadlines, time managing, organising and directing recording sessions with a variety of Northern Irish musicians and songwriters. 

In 2012 I expanded on this project, with Song A Week For A Year, ( http://sawfay.bandcamp.com ) which was funded by the NI Arts Council's Artist Career Enhancement Scheme and mentored by Moving On Music. 

In 2020 I decided to jump into the fray, once more and I wrote three hundred and sixty six more original songs: My second year of writing an original song every day for an entire year! 

Since completing these projects I have written music and sound design with a number of professional companies, such as Accidental Theatre, Prime Cut Productions, Outburst Arts, Tinderbox Theatre, Mac Youth Theatre, DU Dance and many more.
