SCI+TEC celebrates a pivotal moment in its history with the release of ‘I Feel Speed (2025 Remixes),’ a special project revisiting one of Dubfire’s earliest solo works and one of the label’s foundational releases. Originally released in 2007, Dubfire’s cover of Love and Rockets’ ‘I Feel Speed’ marked a bold venture into uncharted territory, with the Grammy-winning artist taking on vocal duties himself to reimagine the iconic ballad.

This release brings together a stellar list of artists, each offering a distinctive interpretation of the classic. SNYL, whose admiration for the original track sparked the project, delivers a rework that strikes a balance between reverence and reinvention.

The Berlin-based DJ and producer, Bonnie Spacey, has been burning dancefloors around the world for nearly a decade. She shines both behind the turntables and in her productions, having immersed herself in the world of electronic music at the youngest age. Merging these sounds with her first love, the guitar, Bonnie offers a daring blend of indie dance, house, captivating techno, and dark disco. As a prolific producer, she has released tracks on prestigious labels like Exploited, Phisica, Jeahmon!, and Lumière Noire, to name a few. In 2019, she founded Critical Monday, where she dropped the single « Don’t » which immediately garnered success, suported Dixon and Jennifer Cardini. Dedicated to the electrifying fusion of techno and rock, Critical Monday is definitevely dedicated to club music, as evident in the releases by Curses, Rafael Cerato, Shubostar, Tony Y Not, Günce Aci, and Mala Ika.

Mathame’s highly-anticipated ‘Nothing Around Us’ arrives on Afterlife Recordings this September 7th.

The richly talented duo Mathame featured on the second Realm Of Consciousness compilation and have since been regulars in the sets of Tale Of Us with some sought-after, unreleased tracks. Their distinctive treatment of vocals marks their tracks out instantly, nowhere more so than on ‘Nothing Around Us’, with the cyber voice of the young Italian artist Lyke. The top quality production and original sound continue with the more understated ‘22’ and end with another prime example of Mathame’s vocal work, ‘Fade Into You’. This EP is a bold statement that crystallises the well-deserved excitement around Mathame.
