Sometimes it really is all about the remix!
And to prove this point, Let's Go Recordings, roll out this exceptional remix from Martin Flex & Angel featuring the vocal talents of Rubi Dan. 

Most remixers' are contempt with utilising the existing vocal. Seldom do we witness the recruitment of an extra MC on a remix, but this crew really wanted to make an impact. 
Phat breaks & booty 808's is the order of the day as the Hitman fires at anything that moves. Martin & Angel are gunning for a peak-time breakbeat burner on this one whilst taking no prisoners. Well let's face it, what Hit Man takes prisoners?

Here we witness breaks man of the moment, Martin Flex, team up with prolific dance music producer, Ricco Tubbs, alongside one of the UK's most celebrated female raggamuffin toasters, Feral Is Kinky.  If that wasn't enough kudos in the room Deekline has been drafted in on the remix duties.  So a phat line up all round. 

It's 1991 and hands are in the air as the sun beats down on the old skool rave.  
This is the vibe "Jumpin" immediately brings to the dancefloor as an infectious old skool piano lead grabs the audience's attention.  Feral then spits ragga bars on piano keys while working the lead to full effect. In comes the drop, BOOM! Snappy beats, deep subs and immense sonic bassline frequencies firmly put us back in 2018.  Jumpin is pure fire, dancefloor, dynamite, destruction! 

Hot Cakes label boss Deekline works his magic on the flip replacing old skool piano keys with a detuned synth lead on a bouncy arrangement. The perfect accompaniment to the original.

Spanish-based UK booty don PuRe SX comes correct with a rough and rowdy slice of breakbeat-fuelled urban bass music topped off with vocal contributions from German superstar Emma Heartbeat and US rapper Benzo, the latter best known for his contributions on the iconic DJ Deekline And Ed Solo bomb, Handz Up!

Sunglasses gets straight to the point as dirty 808s burn up the dancefloor, while electro synths and a superfresh garage-tinged bassline add some rudeboy flavour. Heartbeat's super-sarcastic teutonic tones add a new twist to the booty sound - "hahaha! you're a fucking star" is our favourite line - , while Benzo rocks the mic with a party-starting rhyme that's filled to the brim with that good Miami flavour. 

On the remix, Breakspoll winner Mafia Kiss adds roughhouse bass and firing atmospherics into the mix for a classy, party-starting reworking, showing exactly why he's the cool new kid in town.

Martin Flex links up with MC M-Tek to present a coming of minds in the form of ‘Hardcore Vibes’. A love letter to 1993 and certainly true to original form. If you were lucky enough to experience one of the best eras of underground dance music, this will no doubt raise a fond smile before causing all sorts of lunacy on the dancefloor. If you missed out first time around, don’t worry - this tune encapsulates everything from the ‘hands in the air’ era perfectly. The combination of M-Tek’s enthusiastic vocals and Martin Flex’s spot on production certainly demonstrate a passion for the original movement. It’s bright piano chords and chunky breakbeats flood through the dancefloor like a ray of sunshine and this is certainly one tune from 2020 that actually sounds like it was produced in the early 90’s.
Watch your bass bins, your mid-range and your tweeters. This one is infectious.
