Big Easy Lazy John

I am a bassist, luthier, photographer, designer, born and raised to a musical family in New Orleans. Although I grew up with jazz music, I spent several years touring with an acoustic folk band through Europe and Eastern Europe, opening my eyes and ears to the music of different ethnicities. I have continued to study various folk musics from around the world focusing on Eastern European and Middle Eastern music. My family still remains an important part of my musical life, thus recently, under my sister's influence, I've begun taken my own sounds into the electronic realm. Also to facilitate in my travels and adventures, i have recently completed the design and building of my first travel bass that I am calling the Mobile Acoustic Z (M.A.Z) bass. I hope to produce and sell this instruments to other bassists in the future.
