Following his immense 'West On Mars' EP on Bedrock last autumn, Guy J returns to his own Lost & Found imprint with two absolutely stunning pieces of journeyman techno. Inspired by the classic trance sounds that he grew up to, Guy J has dug super-deep and returned with something super-special. Musical, emotional, hypnotic: both tracks will take you to places you've not explored in years. 'Aurora' hits with chunky drum arrangement that's reminiscent of Deep Dish at the height of their powers; deep, driving and wide enough to carry the weight of the pristine synths, humanised rhythmic textures and melodic weaves, this keeps building until the very end of its epic tenure. Beautiful. 'Airborne', meanwhile, is the full trip: almost 10 minutes of locked-in beauty as we glide further and further into a state of unblinkered positivity. Building us up with precision tension, Guy doesn't even introduce the life-affirming riff until 4.30 but by jove you know about it when he does. Immaculate elevation that seems to come from nowhere; timeless emotionally rich techno like this is universal. Reach for the skies?

"Pink Floyd has played a huge role in both our lives. It's been opening our eyes to some of the absurdities of modern society, but also helped overcome the resignation that comes with it. Pink Floyd also helped go through difficult times and all albums had a different impact: Wether it was 'The Wall', 'Animals', or 'The Piper at The Gates of Dawn'... We felt the necessity to give something back and do it right, taking our time and showing respect to such masterpieces.

This tribute project started in 2014 when Mynox was producing on his own in Montreal. 2 minutes were arranged but the project got dropped for 3 years. In 2017, while sorting old Ableton files and samples, we decided to take this one project, dust it off and finalize it in our own esthetics.

Working on Pink Floyd material is both easy and extremely challenging. Easy because the musicality and quality of the samples is remarkable and difficult because one wants to stay true to the original and show some respect to this unique band that has been influencing the world for decades.

The song has two parts that try to achieve different things. The first one is close to the original, following vocals and the arrangement that is to be found on The Wall (Part II of the original).

A bridge helps transition into a more chaotic, psychedelic second part in which we took some freedom and created a deeper atmosphere. The goal was to build everything from scratch while keeping a reference to the original with the processed hypnotic vocals. This part originally featured an original guitar solo (actually two...) but we decided to take them off and keep the solos for the live renditions. Guy J's seminal label celebrates its 50th release with a two remixes of famed Israeli artist, Eitan Reiter. Having recently finished his second long player, Reiter has the uncanny ability to create a bewildering cross section of styles with aplomb. Featured here are Guy's remixes of 'All That I Know' and 'Fade Away' which have been big crowd pleasers in his shows this year.



'All That I Know' was originally released on Armadillo Records back in November 2017 as part of his second solo album, Give It Life. In original form, its space rhythms and delicate sonics shape the track atmospherically. Guy takes that energy and injected his own dance floor voodoo to add some necessary late night groove.



Also taken from the Give It Life album, 'Fade Away' marries deep pads, trip hops beats and influences of Shoegaze. Upping the tempo and adding a hefty dose of funk from the off, Guy brings this detailed and finespun masterpiece onto the frontlines of twenty first century clubland. Subtle and patient the pay off is in the ride.

Fresh off an All Day I Dream release, Israeli talent Roy Rosenfeld has officially been inducted into the Lost & Found family with his latest EP, ‘Helena’. The title track is a mystical, slow-burning song that showcases the best of Roy’s layered melodies with tribal bongo rhythms. The three-track ‘Helena’ EP is out May 25th on Lost & Found.

What makes everybody's darling duo Monkey Safari so special is surely their authenticity; with their striking debut album ‘Odyssey’​, this meant producing the same kind of tracks they were playing as they toured nightclubs and festivals around the world, rather than simply a listening album. The result was a dance floor artwork. And while they may be perfectionists, they’re certainly no purists, carefully handpicking remixers they see as most capable of continuing their vision for the album.

Even though it was rather challenging, as the original is a perfectly produced floorkiller. So I tried to bring the track into a more dirty direction with a long breakdown, but without leaving the original`sidea too much. I hope people enjoy the results.”

Tensnake:​ “I had a blast remixing ‘Odyssey’. The vocals inspired me to remix it with a bit of 90’s industrial vibe.”

ROD​: “Thanks to the great original parts, both my remixes flowed out of my system quite naturally. i was happy to do 2 complete different remixes. where ‘prologue' is more about peak-time techno-energy, with 'sign' i tried to create a much more psychedelic underwater-ish vibe which i think worked out quite well with that soothing vocal."

Chicola returns to Lost and Found to open his 2018 account with three amazing remixes from three incredible artists, Ruede Hagelstein, Johannes Brecht and Karmon. A staple of the Israeli dance scene for over 20 years, Chicola continues to delight with a mixture of quality beats, strong sound design and that X factor that only certain DJs learn to understand. A firm favourite at Lost and Found, his melodic vision has provided us with some of the labels high points since inception.

Rounding out the pack is Karmon with his version of ‘Velvet Afternoon’. The Dutchman’s musical journey has seen him sign music to an array of labels such as Diynamic and Sinnbus. Refusing to be pigeonholed, over the last few years Karmon has developed a unique signature sound that defies catagorisation. Adding a hefty dose of wonk to ‘Velvet Afternoon’ has catapulted it back into the front of the elite Jocks gig folders. Patiently building a head of steam up to the 3 minute mark and mid section explodes with colour and energy.

After a year of doing this version of Innerbloom i would like to share it with all of you and thank you for the great support you always gave me.

Innerbloom was one of the tracks that inspired me the most since i heard it. The lyrics of the track are one of the most beautiful I've read, and together with the original structure they make a perfect combination.

But from my instinct, i thought i could bring something more, but always respecting the magic the songs has right from the beginning.
