Mihai and Robi started recently to colaborate and play together in Trippin Club Brasov, creating sounds and searching for vibes that may transit each techno lover's ears to a deeper dimension. Living in the quiet city Brasov, in Romania, inspiration started flowing instantly while all it took was a look to see miles of forrest and mountains. They both started playing around with crazy beats not knowing what passion would grow from an innocent curiosity to learn more and create more. This set is a way of sending the mountain vibes all the way to London, taking each listener through a journey of underground sounds.

A live DJ recording from Don Chich B2B GNMR at For The Cause Festival outside of Melbourne in Poowong, Victoria Australia on 29 March 2025. For The Cause is a loving curated, grass roots and intimate festival from a group and community of wonderful and kind people doing it all for the right reasons. 

The guys played a now-legendary closing set the festival on Saturday night/Sunday morning from 2:30am till 7am and we're lucky enough to have it to share with the world. 

It's an immersive, barnstorming 4 and a half hours of the highest grade records, two selectors going b2b for the first time and by the sounds of this, definitely not the last. 

There are gems a plenty in this mix as you'd expect from Don - head chef of the always-reliable Don's Delicatessen channel on YouTube - and GNMR, an Italian selector who held a residency at the legendary Goa Club in Rome.

Michelle emerged from the Uruguayan underground back in 2018. Since then, she's explored the sort of sounds that have made her homeland such a creative hotbed: stripped-back techno, electro and early tech house all collide in her tracks on the likes of My Own Jupiter, CABARET Recordings and, most recently, Element Of Impact. Though designed purely for dancing, they're rich with intriguing textural contrasts between steely metal surfaces, wonky acid lines and sultry synths.

Michelle only plays live, so this week’s mix is a raw, unfiltered one-hour transmission pulled straight from her machines. It’s a rugged ride that grinds through industrial tech, shadowy broken beats and deeper techno. The energy is relentless and the tension is palpable, as if intergalactic warfare lurks just out of sight. The pounding rhythms, strobe-lit grit and sweat-soaked intensity make this a masterclass in pressure and release that's alive, dangerous and keeps you right on the edge.

"I’ve been thinking about recording a left-field mix (for the lack of better term) for quite a while, definitely for a couple years already. About a year ago I finally complied the selection of records, but for some reason I was postponing the very final step of recording it ever since. It is only because I took my first ever sabbatical leave from work recently that I managed to find inspiration for it to be finalised, and even to be repeatedly re-recorded, since the first take got screwed by the recording device’s misconfiguration.

This is not a perfect mix. But I’m still proud of it. The selection of records spans from 92 to 112 bpm, and the very premise of playing it in one take using only vinyl still sounds challenging to me. Yet, here we are: the mix is finally ready after all these months and years of hesitation and procrastination."

Sultry low-end grooves from a rising house enchantress.

"What kind of music do I actually want to play?" Every artist asks themselves this at some point in their career. What is a sound? And why do we personally identify with it? For Lea Lang, AKA dj sweet6teen, this question is the guiding force behind her RA Mix.

Born in Aachen, a German spa city close to the border with Belgium, Lang found her musical feet in the vibrant student hub of Cologne. It was while studying social work at the Technische Hochschule that she fell into the nightlife scene. 

Finding her sound wasn't an instant process. Lang cut her teeth on breaks-heavy house and prog (think Angel D'Lite), traces of which you can hear peppered across RA.1004. But as she explains in this week's Q&A, the pandemic years were, musically, a turning point. 

"High BPMs and short-lived trends became very dominant and I realised I couldn't stand the pace anymore," she writes. "That's when my sound naturally shifted into something more minimalist and timeless."

Nowadays, you'll find Lang in Berlin during the week, and on weekends… well, take your pick. A busy touring schedule means she's on the road almost constantly —this summer she's debuted at Horst Arts & Music, Butik, Dimensions and Panorama Bar (to name just a few). 

And her RA Mix? It oozes charm from the jump. Buoyant with gyrating low-end, it's hard to think her sound was ever anything else: vocals twirl around analogue basslines, material à la Eddie Richards and Terry Francis's historic Wiggle parties, as well as the kind of bongo action that wouldn't feel out of place in an Apollonia session. Call it waft, wiggle, smooch house—whatever it is, we like it.

Ross McMillan, known professionally as Carlos Nilmmns, is a Scottish electronic music producer, DJ, and composer originally from Glasgow. His interest in electronic music began in the early 1990s, influenced by the local scene and early releases from Glasgow’s 23rd Precinct Records. By the late 1990s, he began producing music and studying audio engineering, laying the foundation for his career.

As of 2025 - He is now focusing on various projects for Laurent Garnier's label Cod3 Qr and Ornaments. His collaboration song with Genoveva is featured on the TRAX 40 compilation as reported by DJ Mag has been nominated for 3 Grammys. As a performer, McMillan has played DJ and live sets at clubs and festivals across Europe and internationally under various aliases. He continues to produce, perform, and collaborate on projects across electronic music, film, and the performing arts.

The Life Recorder identity was born in 2006 with the first steps in production. Over time, Kriss became one of the French representatives of a “Deep” sound influenced by Detroit and a certain musical vision. On the DJing side, we have been able to find him through the years behind the decks showing his ability to mix together Deep house and techno at Globus (Tresor)Berlin, Night Moves (Jane Fitz's party) in London..Paris, Manchester , Belgrade, Tbilisi to name a few...

Martinez first release, that kick started his carrier in 2000, was his "Laidback Grooves EP" on the notorious chicago based Deep-House label Guidance Recordings.
