Rebellion welcomes Italian-born artist Cristian Viviano for his label debut with ‘Tu Destino’, a three-track EP showcasing his deep-rooted passion for analog and digital fusion within the studio. Following recent appearances at Hï Ibiza alongside label boss Damian Lazarus, Viviano delivers a trio of expressive cuts that speak to his eclectic style and rich musical background. Known for his versatile sound and powerful DJ sets, his previous releases have landed on respected imprints including Paradise, Hottrax, Get Physical, Maccabi House and his own Descending Order label. Here, he unveils three cuts that encompass his wide-reaching sound with an impressive first outing on the label.

“I poured a lot of passion into this EP. I'm a lover of analog gear, but I never underestimate the potential of digital tools; in fact, I often find blending both worlds incredibly inspiring. ‘Tu Destino’ is the banger of the three; it always gets a great reaction on the dancefloor. The vocal sits perfectly on a groove crafted with both analog machines and VSTs. ‘In This World’ is a fusion of emotions, layered over a deep, driving rhythm. The vocal and brass elements fill the space and your heart, creating a rich, immersive vibe. Last but not least, ‘Runaway’ is what I’d call the super cool one of the EP. Its groove was built using my beloved DSI Tempest drum machine, combining some old-school sounds with a vocal that creates a warm, suspenseful atmosphere. I'm truly happy about this debut release on Rebellion, and I want to thank Damian for believing in the music. Enjoy the journey!” - Cristian Viviano.

A self-taught DJ, musician, and producer from Palermo, Cristian’s path has seen him perform at renowned venues and festivals worldwide, including Fabric in London, Dream Beach Festival, Pacha Ibiza, and Mayan Warrior in Los Angeles. His reputation behind the decks and in the studio continues to grow, with ‘Tu Destino’ capturing the essence of his dynamic sound and marking an exciting step in his ever-evolving artistic journey.

MiZi MuZiK no. 4 delivers a coolly ecstatic, groove-driven collaboration between Madrid’s Landikhan and Berlin-based icon Mira, with a hypnotic interpretation by Ed Ed. Equal parts rhythm-centric shmasher and chord-heavy reminiscence, ‘I’m Still Here’ draws on a rich sonic spectrum to deliver a period EP filled with beautifully arcing warehouse euphoria and playful Funk.

The title track ‘I’m Still Here’ is a vibrant fusion of classic chord ecstasy, warehouse-ready energy arcs, and throbbing Dembow undercurrents. Set against a sonorous kick and booming tomtom groove, Mira and Landikhan marry cool, funky dancefloor elegance with cycling patterns of escalating chord chops. The result is timeless and captivating: flurries of tactile chords and dynamic drum patterns revolve in mid-air—a brightly blazing groove totem to guide the night.

‘We Drop the Ball’ pivots the mood to heavyweight—and beautifully impromptu—Funk. Anchored by squelching, blown-out bass themes and Disco-infused drums, ‘We Drop the Ball’ unveils an intensely tactile playfulness. Deceptively casual in its session-like flow, Mira and Landikhan push the track’s elements to a towering apogee. It’s raw, beautifully engineered, and crucially, it bumps.

Ed Ed recasts ‘We Drop the Ball’ as a deep, immersive dancefloor seance with a sub-heavy core. Draping his rendition in ghostly vapour, Ed Ed transforms the original’s galvanic chords into a haze of swirling atmospheres broken by flashing flickers of transient, heavily effected synths. Dark, sensual, and powerfully hypnotic, Ed Ed dips the original into a vast pool of slow-burning bliss.

Bringing together nostalgic depth and rhythmic sophistication, ‘I’m Still Here’ seamlessly blends Mira’s and Landikhan’s distinct styles. It’s an eclectic take on dancefloor energy that transports both a sense of sonic refinement and the ad hoc joy of creative invention.
