STORY BEHIND THE SONG

Growing up, birthday parties were always a big deal in our family. They are wonderful reminders that we have each other, we are loved, and that we have so much to be grateful for and to live for. I wrote this song for a couple of reasons, 1) I wanted to create a fun and unique memorable moment that me and my family could share in together. 2) I wanted to re-introduce how we experience the happy birthday song with our family and friends all around the world. Cause everyone deserves to feel celebrated with a big hooray!

This recording was even more special to me because I got to have my cool nephews (Anthony, Matthew, Travis, and Mikey) and my beautiful nieces (Zoe and Vanessa) singing during the big count down and the hooray finale. Your tio Martin loves you all muchos.

I first want to begin by saying, I hope you and your families are doing well and feeling healthy and strong. I can say without a doubt, that this whole corona virus has been such a pain in my behind. Over the past two months, this virus has made living life a bit difficult in more ways than one. Since I had time on my hands, I wanted to write a song that expressed how I feel about it all and I am sure how many other folks are feeling about this corona virus season we all are in. I hope you enjoy this song and who knows, this song could be the song that helps stop this corona virus dead in it's track.
