Naaa? Tut der Kopfi noch ein bisschen weh? 

Wir hoffen ihr seid gut ins neue Jahr gerutscht und habt ordentlich über die Stränge geschlagen! In der Karnickelbuchte sieht es aus als ob gleich mehrere Bomben eingeschlagen haben. Überall liegen leere Flaschen Doppelherz und verpeilte Hasen rum. An der Decke kleben mindestens 2kg Möhrchen Pudding. Um wieder in die Gänge zu kommen brauchen wir dringend den passenden musikalischen Rahmen. Etwas das die Beine locker macht und das Herz öffnet. Ein musikalisches Anti-Depressiva, melodisch treibend, gespickt mit technoiden Sounds, gerade richtig um ins neue Jahr zu starten.

Et voilà, nicht ganz ohne Stolz präsentieren wir euch die neuste Ausgabe unseres Podcasts. Für eine kleine Kraule und ne Pulle Wurstwasser konnten wir Martin von der IN.TAKT Crew gewinnen. Zauberhafte Melodien werden von allerhand Vocals umgarnt. Wir sind verzückt und auch ein bisschen verliebt.

Select Cuts 163: Ruede Hagelstein

Seine Liebe zur elektronischen Musik entdeckte Tellerboy ersten relativ spät – im Herbst 2016. Fasziniert von dem Vibe auf ausschweifenden Raves und der treibenden Musik stand schnell fest nicht nur mittanzen zu wollen, sondern auch ein Teil davon zu werden. Mangels Knowhow an den Plattentellern sollten es eigene Veranstaltung werden und so wurde mit Freunden Discotheque Royal ins Leben gerufen. Doch es kam anders. Noch bevor die erste eigene Party organisiert war, wurde Tellerboy hinter den Mixer geschoben. Der Funke sprang sofort über, es war Liebe auf den ersten Gig! Seitdem gehen DJing und die Organisation von Veranstaltungen Hand in Hand. Mittlerweile spielt er regelmäßig im Bahnwärter Thiel, beim Wannda Circus Open Air, im Harry Klein, oder bei Off-Location Raves. Highlights waren Gigs im Sisyphos in Berlin, beim Sa Terza Metari Festival und natürlich so manchem 12 Stunden Ritt in der Gruam. Auch veranstaltungstechnisch hat sich einiges getan, so gastiert DR mittlerweile mit eigenen Clubnächten im Bahnwärter Thiel und im Kunst Block Blave, außerdem wurde mit GaGaGarden auch eine Open Air Reihe ins Leben gerufen.
Ausgehend von den Anfängen in der Gruam mit Spielzeiten von 8 Stunden und mehr, bewegt sich Tellerboy von groovigem Disco, über Nudance und melodic House & Techno bis hin zu Techno in einem breiten Musikspektrum. Am liebsten spielt er treibende melodic Techno oder Techno Sets, gerne auch mit Vocals und es darf dabei auch mal düster werden.

A few weeks ago, not long after we all went into lockdown, I decided to put together a mix, but I wanted it to be a little different from all of the mixes that were frequently popping up on social media. With that in mind I involved you in the process and asked for your suggestions of some of your favourite tracks from the past until now which I would include in the mix.

I was overwhelmed by the shear numbers of suggestions you put forward -  far too many to include all in one mix. However, I spent lot of time and love on the final mix, trying to create a special journey instead of just listing tracks that really stood out to me.

Digging through many old records like this, putting the mix together became quite emotional for me and it reminded me why I fell in love with electronic music in the first place.  It brought back many fond memories too. 
I really hope you enjoy listening to the results as much I did and I hope it stirs some memories, whether it be chills, smiles, tears or laughs for you all too.

SOAME is a DJ and Producer from Zürich Switzerland. Known for his groovy, pushy House DJ-Sets and Productions with Deep and Techno influences and a lot of melody, he is truly in Love with Music. After more than 18 years organizing Events (eg. Arosa Electronica Festival, Backyard Hype @ Street Parade, Hive Audio Nights, Colour Series Label Nights etc.) and playing as a DJ, he spends always time in the studio producing music also collaborating with many other artists. After releasing a fascinating collection of tracks which brought him further attention, expect to hear a lot more of the SOAME sound in the future.
