"Melancholy of the Night"

Maybe it was the melancholy that the night had brought. 
Accompanied by the rain, we shouted, we fought. 
But I realize it was just me in pandemonium, i thought. 
What have I done to you, to us, to me? Distraught.
O
"Let's stop this," it was vague, so basic, so plain, 
But those words were like daggers, so sharp it caused pain. 
That words were scattered in a ruthless void, on my brain.
 I was ruined, I was lost.
 You stayed adamant. I lost sane.

Seconds passed and I managed to begged the tears to stop falling, 
A minute had passed, and you were hastily out walking, 
"Am I that easy to be disregarded?" Here I am questioning.
 For hours and days and weeks, I'm still hoping. 

Time does fly on an incredible pace,
 In a month you were going out like pain had no trace. 
I beg to disagree that time flies because on our case 
one look, one stare from you, time's wings were erased. 

One year, then you came up to me and said you were sorry. 
I had moved on from what had happened, between us, though it wasn't easy. 
But here you are, again, bringing the sadness, the melancholy. 
Of the night, when it rained, and you left me.

You were like a flower, that I treated, so endearing. 
But like all flowers you have thorns, you have secrets you were hiding. 
So I realize that like all flowers though nurtured, it has the same ending. 
You'll wilt, you'll be replaced, there's no point in holding. 

Here you are once again, i bet you need something, make sense? 
I was so tired of loathing you, here's the dot to our sentence. 
I'm glad that it ended now I don't even care about your presence. 
Now I realize hate is not the opposite of love, it's indifference.
