Marty Lancton is a Houston-born firefighter, paramedic, and community leader with over 20 years of experience serving on the frontlines and advocating for first responders. Beginning his career in Cedar Park, Texas, Marty later joined the West University Fire Department before continuing his service with the Houston Fire Department, where he remains committed to protecting lives and ensuring public safety.

Beyond the fireground, Marty has become a leading voice for firefighter rights and welfare. He was elected President of the Houston Professional Fire Fighters Association in 2016 and serves as Vice President of the Texas State Association of Fire Fighters. He also chairs the Houston Professional Fire Fighters Association Charitable Foundation, providing critical support to firefighters and families facing hardship. Marty founded the Red Hot Gala, raising millions to benefit firefighters and underserved children in Houston.

A Senior Fellow with the American Leadership Forum and the British American Project, Marty follows a philosophy of “Men for Others,” putting people before politics and serving with integrity, courage, and dedication.
