The line “And you whisper with your eyes ITS WRONG / To be criticized again” speaks volumes through its subtlety. The power of unspoken communication comes through, as if emotions simmer just beneath the surface, too complex to be fully expressed. The repetition of criticism reflects a cycle that feels inevitable, a burden that weighs on the soul.

As the journey continues, “Take us to the crest of this town / To the rest of this house through a door,” there’s a sense of searching for something beyond the ordinary. It feels like a quest for clarity, though what lies on the other side of that door remains tantalizingly unclear. The lyrics leave open the possibility of escape or simply a return to the familiar.

The metaphor of gambling in “Even if the dice were thrown / And you gamble with your life it’s true,” taps into the unpredictability of life itself. Every choice, every moment, is a roll of the dice—sometimes it pays off, sometimes it doesn't, but the stakes always feel high. The imagery of being "withered up inside again" evokes the quiet resignation that can follow when those gambles don't go your way.

In the chorus, the line “All you care / Share you love the world / Only you’ll be afraid to understand” hints at a deeper internal conflict—love is there, but fear holds it back. It's as if understanding the full weight of emotion could be too much to bear, and so it remains just out of reach.

The surreal questioning in the latter half of the song, “hey do you wanna be / such a hopeless / Do you wanna hear / a little sci-fi sci-fi yeah,” pulls the listener into a more playful, abstract space. This track talks about the attempted assassination attempt on the former President, and questions what one might think when constantly attacked in so many ways and for such a long period of time. It also hypothesises on the speculation of him potentially seeking retribution from those responsible for ruining his life and his country, when he takes back the Presidency. 
Whether you hate the man, support him or neither I personally think that trying to kill a country's head of state is a reprehensible act to say the least.
