Goodmorning Mr Devil

I am moving so quickly through space and time…it is taking my breath away.  I am detaching from any form of attachment…or at least I can see my form disintegrating and running through my fingers.  I can’t grasp onto anything. I am holding my hands open as the world revolves around me.  What I have been fighting, I am now just beginning to surrender to.  It feels both horrible and incredible. 

The music ‘Through Her Glistening Eyes’ is taking me from one space into the next. It all began with the Goddess of Edges and Listen 51. To go higher…and inevitably I meet yet another spirit who maybe cannot hear me…but is listening…but this time, I am not disturbed by the fact.  I am accepting.  

I open up now, as an eagle or a dragon, or a moth…to fly up to find something…the paradox of letting go and finding something is embedded in my bones/wings…

As I lay here…arms open, hands open and relaxed in surrender…I sit still…I await…a cosmic new energy is coming into my orbit and I am positively joyous to discover what it means. I open and open and open and move through and around to explore this remarkable new energy. 

The quieter I sit, the higher I fly…the more my hands stay open and accepting, the more energy I can feel…the more I embody ‘If it comes, let it. If it goes, let it’, then I am ready to fly…ready to be so free…it feels revolutionary…it will now find its way into the music…

My revolutionary new music will emanate…I am simply taken away…gone gone gone… -MM

We all know its coming, we don't like to think about it. But its one of the only thing that we are guaranteed of in this life. I ask myself this question over and over . What happens when we die. Is there a life after death? Where do we go when we die? a few of my friends have already made the journey and this is for them. If anyone knows the answer please, please let me know . I recorded this live with 2 microphones one for my Beautiful 1975 Classical Guitar and one for my 1958 Voice. So there will be a few noises in the background.

This is a cover from Paul McCartney and Wings, from 1975 album, Venus and Mars, and this album was supported on their 1976 Wings over America tour. They always opened with Venus and Mars/Rockshow
     Ken sent Josh and Tez an email a few months back, about maybe covering this awesome rocker, after we released “Hello World." Before responding, Ken reposted his cover of "Richard Cory," a Simon and Garfunkel cover, sung by Denny Laine and Sir Paul on the Wings Over America triple live album. Stephen commented that “Rockshow” was one of the first songs he learned on guitar. Ken said, “Well, here’s your sign!" He freaked and invited Stephen to immediately contact Josh.
     We finished everything but the vocals by early June, but were stuck on lead vocalist. Several of the collective gave it a go, but nothing sounded right. Then came a late game idea. We had all been following and fans of The Mysterious Decibel for quite some time, so we asked him if he'd be interested in singing it. He was game, and really delivered what so many could not. He is a new, welcome addition to our mix. You'll also hear Stephen, who also accomplished the herculean task of mixing and producing this song, very ably play the entire song on the guitar, with Tez playing the ripping leads. 
  We hope you enjoy our labor of love that has been an entire summer in the making.

No matter how good things may seem at any point in our lives, there are always moments of concern, of counter-thought and worry that lurk in the shadows of our imagination. Few things are without blemish and most of us can be unforgiving in the presence of imperfection. Thus, the shadows and the darkness that seeks to stifle the light.
