They Had A Dream is a poem I released for Black History Month 2021. It details the leaders that have played their part in the Civil rights movement. With Martin Luther King's birthday on January 15, I present this to pay homage to his "Dream". 

"In season 3, two different leaders entered the scene.

One preaching violence the other had a dream.

Martin and Malcolm had the same goal.

But one was brought up in the church and the other had spent time in the hole.

Nonviolence and Any means necessary had the same theme.

Both wanted the black man to be able to live the American dream.

Unfortunately both came to a familiar end. Both dying from a bullet, but their words lived on through what they had penned."
