DJ R. - artist, composer & DJ was influenced by HipHop culture in the early 90s. A time when MTV YO! Raps were part of everyday life. Clothes by Karl Kani, boots by Timbaland and a mixtape in the Walkman. As a DJ, his focus was always on the instruments and their combination. For him personally, it was always important to be able to listen to a song without vocals and still have fun with it. This has always been his aim when composing a new track.

This album implies exactly this fascinating feeling of listening to an instrumental without losing the fun of it. It was created to entertain the listener and inspire other artists. The sound is a mixture of old sounds and new influences as well as elements from different cultures. Each title is dedicated to a specific artist. The title name already reveals a little about who it is dedicated to.


DJ R. - Künstler, Komponist & DJ wurde Anfang der 90er von der HipHop Kultur geprägt. Eine Zeit in der MTV YO! Raps zum Alltag gehörte. Klamotten von Karl Kani, Boots von Timbaland und ein Mixtape im Walkman. Als DJ lag sein Fokus immer auf den Instrumenten und deren Kombination. Für ihn persönlich war es immer wichtig einen Song auch ohne Vocals anzuhören zu können und trotzdem Freude dabei zu haben. Das war auch immer sein bestreben beim komponieren eines neuen Tracks.

Dieses Album impliziert genau dieses faszinierende Gefühl, sich ein Instrumental anzuhören ohne den Spass daran zu verlieren. Es wurde kreiert den Hörer zu unterhalten und andere Künstler zu inspirieren. Der Sound ist eine Mischung aus alten Sounds und neuen Einflüssen sowie Elementen aus unterschiedlichen Kulturen. Jeder Titel wurde einem bestimmten Künstler gewidmet. Der Titelname verrät schon ein wenig an wen es geht.
