Tarek M.G. is a video game composer based in London, UK.
He works with highly creative and passionate people and companies to craft exciting and innovative releases.

​He typically focuses on tailored adaptive & dynamic soundtrack systems, implementation support, linear scores, looped scores, cutscenes and other in-game musical elements.

He typically works on Action, Fantasy, Sci-Fi, RPG, Horror, or Adventure projects.

The modern-metal side of his work is heavily influenced by bands such as Bleed From Within, Born of Osiris, Monuments, The Black Dahlia Murder, As Blood Runs Black, Lamb of God, and Linkin Park to name a few, resulting in a unique sound characterized by groovy elements and rhythmic breakdowns.

On the cinematic, epic orchestral , and sound design side of his music, Tarek MG also draws significant inspiration from the qualities found in Japanese media, including JRPG soundtracks composers such as Yoko Shimomura (Final Fantasy), Masayoshi Soken (Final Fantasy), Nobuo Uematsu (Final Fantasy), Daisuke Ishiwatari (Guilty Gear), as well as various anime OSTs. This influence allows him to incorporate a sense of grandeur and emotional depth into his compositions, often creating a narrative of a protagonist's journey through epic and cinematic soundscapes. His goal is to enable fans to imagine their own scenes within the story of each composition.

Previously releasing music under the name Martyrs Alive, Tarek MG began this new chapter in 2020, seeking to further refine his artistic direction. His music aims to deliver an experience that feels both epic and introspective, combining modern metal elements with a cinematic approach to storytelling.
