It’s an ethereal yet bodily experience, crafted to tease and tantalise, drawing listeners into a rhythmic ritual where desire and sound entwine.

W133 welcomes Marteka Fair (@martekafair ) for her first appearance on the label. The North Carolina-based artist blesses us with four originals, which form the most meditative/ hypnotic Techno release on the label to date.
The EP starts off with an ambient piece, „Charlie’s Meditation“. Hypnotizing arps and panning drones lie under the repeated phrase, „You are alive.” Right afterward, we jump into Techno with „Daisies“. The fast-rolling groover is complemented with trippy violin picking by Chris Lock (@crl836748 ).
Next on the menu, we have the EP’s title track, „Ether“. Freaky laser shots and tripped-out synths randomly explode in your face and will certainly make you feel like you’re floating in some sort of vacuum.
The last tune, a nasty rumbler with metallic pipe-like sounds, is called „All You Zombies“. It pulls you into a vortex and releases you as a zombie indeed!
The release is accompanied by an artwork photograph by Philipp Roth and will be out on all digital platforms on 21.3.2025.

For our 25th Agora Records podcast, we present a special back-to-back between French DJs Egna and Erna, delivering a mix that functions like a Venn diagram of their musical worlds.

This collaborative session beautifully showcases both their individual styles and shared influences. Erna brings her signature bass-heavy, percussive, and bailé sounds, while Egna contributes deep, broken electro and techno elements. Together, they create an unapologetically eclectic journey.

Aquarium Welcomes JVX, a sweet intense set he played, full of summery vibes and chill. 

JVX is a DJ from Jaén, Andalucia, now based in Essen, Germany.

He discovered electronic music at 15, and since then he is been in continuous development and exploration. Inspired by artists like Aphex Twin and Sleeparchive, he has developed a style rooted in dark atmospheres, intricate rhythms, and heavy kicks.

While this set moves away from his usual sound, inspired by the sound of Detroit, it reflects his drive to experiment and keep pushing boundaries.

Living in a new country means new energy — and this mix captures that spirit of exploration and growth.

Well actually it's not a 303, but a Syntecno Teebee and a TR-606. I was busy modding the 606 and I did this kinda fast for me acid techno track to test the mods. You hear the snare got pitch and decay now. The weird hum is when I accidentally touch some electronics inside. I never finished the 606. I think I broke it a bit. I put it in parts in a box and it should still be somewhere. It's now 14 years later! Should look for it again soon. I still like the drive in this song.
