We hosted Philipp long ago at our defunct "Exotika" party at La Java, Paris and it's a pleasure to finally have him on the series !

In the game for 20 years, Lauer prolific career led him to release on some of the coolest german or international labels such as Live At Robert Johnson, Permanent Vacation, Beats In Space, Running Back, International Feel, Futureboogie, Emotional Especial, Unknown To The Unknown and many more.
He also made plenty of collaborations, such as "Black Spuma" with Fabrizio Mammarella, "Tuff City Kids" with Gerd Janson, "T&P" with Tim Sweeney, "Crabsticks" with Skatebard and also countless remixes.

Red Axes have just dropped the recording of a very special 5 hour set in Room 2. Now available to stream, this exclusive recording from this time last year is a deep-dive into the staple sound of the punk-edged duo.

Made up of Tel-Aviv Based producers and DJs Dori Sadovnik & Niv Arzi, Red Axes have been more than catching our eyes and ears over the past few years.  So much so, we’re keen to share our passion for the duo elsewhere, even taking them to other venues such as Village Underground for another special extended session earlier this year.

The pair have roots in rock music and begun their creative collaboration when they were in a band together. So perhaps it is unsuprising that today, their electronic music projects delve into a sound that roams through psychedelic electronica, post-punk and new wave elements, often dipping into a retro rock and 80’s hued sound that first fuelled their sonic spark.

'Now based in Manchester, BoB has been involved in parties all over the North West as a DJ and Promoter and  was taking time out to concentrate on the joys of parenthood and synth programming, 
Until a chance meeting with Red Laser head honcho "Il Bosco" 
when he managed to lure him into his synth dungeon and played him "Aphelion Run Theme"  on repeat until he agreed to release it on Red Laser EP 11.

Now a fully fledged member of the Red Laser Family and self proclaimed "Stretford Synth Master" BoB decided to put together this mix to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of the label. A 90 minute voyage of robotic tunes to make you feel human, keeping the laser beams at full capacity! Includes a sneaky BoB SwanS production due out soon on Red Laser EP 13 and a new DJ Absolutely Shit throbber!'
