I've been collecting berries and laying in stores . so, i ran into this in the files, perhaps my fave collab. I have, i hope, sharpened it a little in the mix and mastering, basically got rid of the fx.
Lammbone is very apparent,bold and joyful. Rory from Textosh is weaving a sublime harp through it all. I took his slide off the track so the harp could sing a little more clearly.

This song was recording a long time ago on a whim as a quiet rant while our first baby was sleeping. I don't ususally play electric guitar, (natalie) but it was a good way to play at night without being too loud. I just looped some guitar tracks and sang the song, then Brent worked on the rest.

This is quite a different kind of outing for me. I've always admired the Soundcloud guitar players who play blues to pre-recorded backing tracks and burn them up. Many years ago, I played the blues myself, or tried to. So, around four years ago I thought I'd give the backing track blues thing a try. I decided at the time that the results weren't good enough to post. In fact, I'd forgotten that I'd even done it when I found this on my hard drive. I enjoyed hearing it, and inspired by Bill Boethius' recent original mega-exploded-blues postings (check them out!), I thought I'd share it.

I got the backing track free online, but can't now recall from where.

Enoshima Island(Fujisawa-city) in the neighboring city where I live is the venue for the Tokyo Olympic 2020 sailing competition.
There is Enoshima Shrine in Enoshima Island .
One of the three Bentens in Japan, the guardian goddess of this area and the goddess of love, art and music are enshrined.
Myoon Benten (naked body) is about six hundred years old, hold a Biaw (Japanese lute) wooden statue.
I often worship there.
This melody was given at that time.
If you have a chance, I recommend that you visit once.
You will receive good luck for music from this goddess.

they'll be put on a strict diet.. have draining therapy,and get up at the crack of dawn to do unpleasant exercise...
they have all sorts of purification techniques...there's even one method where they push a hose pipe up your arse and flush you out...!?@£$%^&amp;*(
it's all very virtuous i'm sure,and i bet sometimes it actually works....
but i always fancied the idea of a place where people could go to eat or drink whatever they like... guilt free....
and through the miracle of kindness,encouragement,,and fun conversation,they'd maybe regain their self esteem and appetite for life...
perhaps with a little more joy, all the health issues caused by obsessive drinking/eating would then just settle down and take care of themselves.
and so out of that reverie , i came up with this song'bootcamp for the broken hearted'.
