But the calm is gone, and the map is wrong.
I’m out here chasing sense in dread,
Like pullin’ pants over my head.
Yeah, the world’s gone mad, or maybe it’s me,
Tryna find truth on a cracked TV.
It’s upside down, it’s all misread,
Like wearin’ jeans where a hat should tread.
Can’t fix a storm with a safety pin,
Can’t win a game you’re not even in.
It’s all confusion, fear, and thread,
Like pullin’ pants over my head.
Talk shows talk in circles wide,
And facts get drowned in the rising tide.
Algorithms shape my mind,
But I just wanted peace to find.
Now I’m scrolling through the dread,
With my socks on where my hat goes instead.

They say “Truth will always shine,”
But it’s hiding out in some old vine.
I laugh until I cry instead,
Still pullin’ pants over my head.
Yeah, the world’s on fire, or maybe just bored,
Trading empathy for a leaderboard.
It’s upside down, it’s all misread,
Like wearin’ jeans where a crown should tread.
Can’t stop the flood with a single thread,
Can’t clear the fog when it’s in your head.
It’s all just circus clowns and dread,
Like pullin’ pants over my head.
Maybe nonsense is the clue,
